Wordpress Developer

We have an opportunity for a Wordpress backend developer to join our new, dedicated in house team based in Dundee. The role involves initially working on improving our existing Wordpress-based websites and will then expand to developing new, largely outdoor & recreational themed websites.

The successful candidate must have an extremely thorough knowledge of Wordpress; relevant commercial experience is a bonus but not essential and all candidates will be considered on their individual merits Good written and oral communication skills plus the ability to work well under pressure and show initiative are a must.

IT Support Technician

Client Helpdesk

We're looking for a 1st Line Service Desk Technician who will support users within our Dundee office who will provide IT support at desktop level. You will work closely with clients online to get all matters resolved in a timely and effective manner. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for everything desktop related and love working in a fast paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Field incoming helpdesk requests from end users via both the Helpdesk system and telephone and remote link up.
  • Provide practical hands-on support to end users to ensure that technical faults and/or requests are professionally responded to
  • Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers
  • Prioritise and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriate experienced technician.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience of working on a help desk/1st line IT support role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft & Apple products as well as wordpress.
  • Good understanding and experience of using and setting up client emails systems as well as cPanel software

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for generating new business opportunities and actively seeking out new leads for the benefit of the agency. You will source, qualify and add prospects to the sales database. You will perform new business activities such as, email marketing, networking, referral schemes and other creative initiatives to generate sales.

To sell to existing and find new client accounts via telephone, customer visits, and virtual meetings. You will be able to attend new business meetings on your own or accompanied by a specialist from our inhouse team and talk competently about our services and the wider industry. You will work with our digital marketing team to create concepts and write proposals for new business pitches. Additionally, you will manage and report on the sales pipeline from initial
contact through to contract negotiations and close. A proactive, tenacious and gregarious personality is essential.
